Specialized seminar
"How to increase the profitability of industrial enterprises
by using waste "
17th of December, 2014, Kiev, conference hall Green Well
Ukraine today is one of the European leaders in the accumulated in landfills and dumps industrial and domestic waste: the country has accumulated more than 25 billion tons of industrial waste and 10 billion tons of solid waste. And annually this statistic is replenished in Ukraine for at least 50 million tons of "fresh" resource from which no more than one third is being recycled. It is worth noting that the total reserves of coal in Ukraine are 30 billion tons.
Waste is a valuable resource for further processing as an industrial raw material, and as a source of energy. It is ten times cheaper than raw materials, gas, oil and coal.
Thus, the implementation of projects connected with the usage of waste during production process as a raw materials and fuel can significantly improve the profitability of enterprises. Today, reducing the cost of production is the main condition for survival for a significant part of Ukrainian companies.
Our industry seminar is dedicated to the effective usage of the waste resources in various industries.
We'll talk with the key industry experts ABOUT:
● how could recycling companies transform into the major energy suppliers for the cement industry;
● how and where crushed sunflower husk could be applied as a fuel;
● how an alternative fuel could be used in the steel industry;
● how to turn waste into liquid fuels: practical experience in industrial production;
● from the landfill to the substation: How profitable can be a model « waste-to-energy» in Ukraine;
